This is Joey, he’s one of our Nubian bucklings. He’s still a bottle baby. All of our newborns stay inside for the first week until they’re stable enough to eat off the lamb feeder and bottles.

These are two of our Nubian girls, Kaylie and Laura. They love cuddling in their blue bucket but are looking forward to going out to the kidding barn.

While inside, our kids have to have exercise! They wear newborn diapers until they’re old enough to move outside. From left to right we have : Kaylie, Saul, Jacob, and Laura.

Our one week to three week old babies stay in the kidding barn until they’re strong and playful enough to hop and live outside in the “baby field.”

At around three to four weeks they venture outside and learn to run and hop around in the grass through “obstacle courses.” This is Joy, one of our Alpine kids.
